Notable Features: These earrings were handmade during the Art Deco era. The
look during this period was about expressing modernity and style - think
flappers and Gatsby parties. Strong, geometric lines took off as did
over-the-top sparkle and pizzazz. These lovely earrings feature a Grecian
scene, with two individuals away from each other holding on to various animals.
One of the individuals holds under their arm a bull, while the other is holding
on to what appears to be a duck or a swan.

These earrings are composed of .925 sterling silver and were made using the
cast technique. The cast technique is an ancient metalworking technique during
which molten metal is hand poured into a cast where it is then allowed to cool
into the desired shape. This technique not only allows items of jewelry to have
intricate details but promotes the use of high relief and low relief portions
to add to the lifelike nature of the scenes portrayed. The earrings have
screwback backings which makes them suitable for both unpierced and pierced
ears. Don't miss your opportunity to own this gorgeous piece of history.

Damage: Age appropriate wear.
